The beauty of the moon reimagined by the artist Lateefa Spiker is a captivating image. The silver moon looks embroidered and, rather than wax and wane, seems to unravel piece by piece.
I’m lucky enough to have the artist’s permission to feature this on the cover of Honeymoon, my new, soon to be published novel.
It seems so apt for the story to see the moon disintegrate in this way for although it is a love story it is also a mystery. Past crimes and misdemeanours are revealed, Rosie – an innocent abroad – sees her honeymoon unravel and must re-imagine her life and herself.
